Monrovia – Alex Divine, Executive Director of Youth for Change, a local youth organization in Liberia, has been selected by Africa Advancement Global Submit as “Youth Empowerment Personality of the Year 2021”.

The Africa Advancement Forum is an initiative dedicated to enhancing and promoting conversations about public-private partnerships dedicated to enhancing Africa’s economic prosperity.

The Forum is scheduled to host its annual awards ceremony in Ghana this Friday, August 20, at the Accra International Conference Center with the theme; “THE AFRICA WE WANT”.

During this event, top African change actors from different parts of Africa, including two prominent Liberians, Vice President Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor of the Republic of Liberia and Mr. Alex Favor Divine, Executive Director of Youth for Change should be rewarded at the event. .

Alex Favor Divine Jr., Liberia’s first Global Goodwill Ambassador, USAID Youth of the Year recipient, educator and visionary leader with over 13 years of experience in organizational leadership, the Volunteering and Youth Capacity Building will be awarded the ‘Youth Empowerment Personality of the Year 2021 at the Summit of the Forum for the Advancement of Africa.

According to Mr. Divine, “when the impact of the work speaks, it attracts good people to you,” he said.

He added that his Youth for Change team and the youth of Liberia’s 15 counties deserved the dedication of his award as a driving force behind his many achievements in youth development.
