Japanese pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers will have a strong presence at Africa Health ExCon, which will be the largest medicine-related exhibition in Africa, initiated by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will organize the Japanese booth to promote Japanese medical industries with the participation of Japanese key players, J. Morita, Otsuka Gypto, Sysmex Egypt, Standage, Yokogawa Middle East.

J. Morita, a leading provider of X-ray diagnostics and endodontics, will introduce Veraview X800, the first-class combined X-ray system. Otsuka Gypto, the joint venture between Egyptian pharmaceutical giant Gypto and Japan’s Otsuka Pharmaceutical will provide information on ethical medicines, including high-quality intravenous solutions.

Sysmex Egypt, a provider of diagnostic solutions for medical laboratories, will present its new product XN-1000. Standage, the medical device trading company, introduces Kaltech portable air purifiers and other items. Yokogawa Middle East, an automation company, introduces its service, LIMS and Pharma Smart GMP & control.

Additionally, Japan’s top pharmaceutical companies such as Takeda Pharmaceutical, Astellas Pharma and major medical equipment players such as Olympus, Canon Medical Systems Corporation, Konica Minolta, Pentax Medical and Fujifilm to participate Africa Health Excon by building their stands.

Africa Health ExCon ​​will be held from June 5-7 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC). The Japan stand is located in Hall 4, No. 443a.
